Job Overview:

Local residential/commercial construction company seeking a skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our team. As a Carpenter/Laborer, you will be responsible for assisting a Lead Carpenter with various carpentry tasks, painting, demolition, site cleaning, soffit & fascia, siding and general labor duties. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in construction who is looking to expand their knowledge and skill set, and contribute to a dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with carpentry projects, including framing, flooring, trimwork, fencing, decking, staircasing, sanding, wood filling, painting, window and door installation, cabinet installation, and millshop work on occasion.
• Perform heavy lifting and manual labor as required.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure projects are completed efficiently and on time.
• Follow directions to complete tasks accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area!

Experience:

• Proven experience as a Carpenter or Laborer in the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and tools.
• Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and manual labor.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints as a bonus.
• Osha certification or other professional certifications as a bonus.
